Village Hall canopy & patio space transformed

We're thrilled to announce the completion of the fantastic new canopy, patio, and fencing at the Village Hall. This project has transformed our outdoor space, making it even more versatile for community activities; it creates so many new possibilities.

The new canopy provides much-needed shelter from both sun and rain, allowing for comfortable outdoor gatherings no matter the weather. This was put to the test with the Coffee Morning on Saturday 7^th June.

Complementing the canopy is a spacious new patio. The area is now much more attractive and safer.  We aim to add outdoor seating next, seamlessly connecting the indoors with the newly enhanced exterior. We envision this patio becoming a hub of activity, for our groups and future social events.

Finally, the new fencing not only looks good but also provides improved security. Its tasteful design blends perfectly, giving the patio that final polished touch.

This project wouldn't have been possible without the incredible dedication of everyone involved and the wonderful support of our community. We can't wait for you all to experience and enjoy these fantastic new additions. Keep an eye on our events calendar – we'll be planning plenty of opportunities to make the most of our transformed outdoor space!

Coffee Morning

Speaking of making the most of our new space, last Friday, June 7th, we held a Coffee Morning, and the outside space was used for the first time.

It was great to see those who came to support the morning at the Village Hall, we raised £47.02. It may be a small amount, but it all adds up to helping continue enhance our community Village Hall. So, we thank all those for the continued support.

In addition to the day, the charity tractor run past right through the village during the afternoon. Despite the very wet weather in the morning, the sun shone for the convoy. It was genuinely heart-warming to see such incredible support for a worthy cause from both our residents and the passing tractors.
